Oh…My…Goodness….craziness!! I can’t believe you actually did that - must have been hilarious! Did the geocachers know you were only acting, or did they think you were a bum being paid by someone to sit on the cache? Too funny!

Hey, I’d left you a comment here but I don’t see it anywhere so I’ll say it again : Too funny! Did the geocachers know you were just acting or did they think you were a bum being paid by someone to sit on the cache? I ask because you look pretty darn convincing. Especially impressed by the socks pulled over your jeans. Now that’s classy.

It was too funny. The thing was, it was obvious that it HAD to be where I was. There was nothing else there (almost) and they knew they were looking for a LARGE sized cache. Despite that, only a couple teams came right up to me and “woke me up” asking to see the cache. Most others searched all around me first, then discussed if they should wake me, or just move on, or what.

Most of the teams, once I gave them access to the cache, asked if I was a geocacher and what my geocaching name was. (Most people know my name since i’ve placed a few caches in and around Montreal).

At the very end however, when we all met AFTER the rally to get the scores and hang out, I had one person come up to me saying he didn’t realize I was a real geocacher… :)

Hehehe yeah the socks over the jeans while wearing sandles was a tough one for me to do all day, considering how “classy” it looks, as you say .. :) Your comments may get delayed, over the past week i’ve started getting hundreds of spam comments a day and now need to add spam filtering on my comments, and for some reason yours have been going in there until I take’em out. :) (Don’t stop leaving comments though!!)
